Our programs are aimed to develop dancers at every level, whether you are a beginner or want to take your skills to the stage and compete. We train our dancers in various styles of dance from ballet to hip-hop and everything in between.

Our Facility
Our facility was constructed in 2004, and is maintained and upgraded frequently to ensure the safest environment for our dancers.
Instructional Spaces
Gym: 3500 sqft. with cushioned Flexi rolls to prevent injury. Equipment: bars, beam, rings, built-in tumble track, and obstacle course, and suspended ropes.
Studio A/Competition Room: 3000 sqft with injury preventative Marley covered, raised flooring.
Studio B/Ballet: 1700 sqft. Marley covered floating floors and wall-mounted ballet barres.
Studio C/Recreational Dance Room: 1500 sqft with a floating floor with Marley covering and ballet barres.

Safety Measures:
Our instructional spaces include injury preventative measures to protect our students. A major factor for preventing injuries while practicing dance, tumble, or gymnastics is the type of flooring. Our Studio Floors are raised and covered with Marley. This provides cushioning and helps prevent slips and falls. Similarly, our gym has Flexi rolls covering the floor.
It is important to dance at a facility that prioritizes the safety of its students, especially concerning flooring.
OUR HISTORY
Over 20 years of exemplary dedication and success in the art of dance.
In 1999 Lake Norman Dance Gallery was founded by Nikki Ritchie-Hensley, with the help of her parents, Ted and Norma Ritchie. With only 11 students at our opening, we have seen tremendous growth and success over the past 20+ years. Those first 11 dancers (including the talented Mr. Barrett) earned numerous national championship titles in their first season.
In more recent years, our LNDG competition teams have continued a championship legacy, settling for nothing less than excellence. We believe our reputation speaks for itself; however, our legacy is through our students, who learned the necessary skills to lead successful lives upon graduation from our studio.
As we enter our 25th season as a premier dance facility, we are certain that our legacy and reputation will prevail. We value our LNDG dance family and welcome new students with open arms.
